Global Girls, a south side youth performing arts organization, will host “Women and Girls Inspiring Change,” an international showcase honoring individuals and organizations empowering voices locally and impacting people globally Saturday, March 31, 2012 from 1p until 3:30p. The afternoon will feature culturally diverse performances, awards recognizing eight individuals/organizations and presentations by Global Girls’ Everyday People Theatre. This event is co-sponsored by the University of Chicago International House.
